Autumn events near The Laurels

Summer has just about gone and we can now welcome autumn; the leaves are changing colour, the temperatures are dropping and the days are getting shorter. But there are events happening nearby so we can still get out and about.

Witchy things are happening across Oxfordshire in October. Blenheim Palace is hosting a halloween event between 21 and 31 October; wander through the gardens when it's getting dark to soak up the atmosphere. Waddesdon Manor is offering spooky afternoon teas between 22 and 30 October if you don't fancy venturing out in the dark of the night.

Stonor Park is having a Moonwitch's Halloween Adventure between 19 and 30 October. Listen to stories from 'The Moonwitch and The Thief'. The Earth Trust Centre is having its first ever Pumpkin Patch event - pick your own pumpkin from the growing field.

Fruit it now in abundance and Didcot Railway Centre is holding an apple pressing day on 9 October. Apple Day is being held in Brightwell-cum-Sotwell on 15 October - there will be apple and juice tastings as well as chutney and cake competitions.
